jefe.bike is a commercial sponsor of the 5th East Texas Showdown / Slowdown, one of the pre-eminent organized bikepacking events. Participants get a chance to grab some jefe.bike swag as part of an event raffle, including a limited edition kLite Micro-D Adventure kit (valued at $500!), Titanium bolt replacement kits, and other superfly giveaways. We love participating in these events as much as we're able, it's a great way of giving back to our community and keeping the sport fresh. Event organizer Patrick Farnsworth has made a tremendous impact on bikepacking through his Texas Showdown events--which allow pro racers and mere mortals traverse the same terrain and enjoy the excitement that comes from riding through the wilderness.
