May 27, 2026 - jefe.bike, kLite, and the Blackfoot Angler today announced the placement of a Tour Divide / GDMBR dynamo parts cache, located at the Blackfoot Angler in Ovando, Montana. This is the fifth year of the parts cache in this location. The cache is open to all riders regardless of their race / tour status or their choice of lighting / charging system. The goal is to allow riders to make adjustments to their system to keep everyone on the trail and in their flow. Just pop into the Blackfoot Angler and ask for the jefe.bike cache and you'll get access to the boxes.
We have updated the cache to two boxes--one that includes light repair tools and another that includes kLite specific repair parts. The kLite repair parts box is accessed on an honor basis, with users settling up with jefe.bike once they have completed their race or tour. It's our hope that no one will need either box, but from experience, incidents happen out there and it's nice to know there's a place out on the trail where you can access repair tools. We'll also support all riders by telephone and my email - just reach out if you have a technical question and we'll do our best to address your specific question.
