If you're looking to replace your kLite lamp unit, you've come to the right place. This listing is for a kLite ULTRA v2 Lamp - lamp unit only.

The kLite ULTRA v2 lamp is the world's best dynamo hub light. Throwing 1,300 lumens with three lighting units, this lightweight (133g), waterproof, and vibration-proof device is the ultimate night time riding companion for committed bicycle commuting, MTB singletrack, backcountry touring, bikepacking or ultra endurance racing.  The device ships with a handlebar / fork mounting system (67g) but should that fail on you in the backcountry, it has plenty of redundant zip tie mounting points to keep you rolling through the night.

Choose between two configurations--Wide Beam (Intended for MTB and singletrack riding) and Long Beam (Intended for the faster speeds of gravel and road riding).  An easy way to think about the differences in these is that the Wide Beam projects light twice as wide as the Long, and the Long Beam illuminates the distance twice as much as the Wide. It's about your speed and riding preference.

The Wide Beam lamp uses diffused lenses on the outside lamps to provide 180 degrees of lighting, which is really useful for trail riding.  At 13kph / 8mph, the center spot kicks on to provide down the trail illumination. Many say that the combination of the wide and spot beams on this lamp allow them to leave their helmet mounted lights at home.  The configuration also helps prevent light flares off near-to-trail trees and other obstacles--a factor which can lead to eye strain.

The Long Beam lamp uses projector beams on the outside lamps and a diffused lamp in the middle. This configuration is ideal for the faster speeds seen in gravel and road riding, and where you're more worried about illuminating that dark road ahead more than avoiding that tree in your immediate field of view. For road and gravel riding, there is no better dynamo lamp, the ULTRA v2 illuminates the road in an impressive fashion and does so without the unusual beam patterns exhibited by other lamps.

Both Wide and Long versions include a capacitive stand light that comes on when stopped or moving slowly--helping to illuminate your immediate surroundings while you push over an obstacle or check over your rig.

An application note:  If you're planning to use your new kLite ULTRA V2 with an existing kLite wiring loom, please look over the connector pictures below.  kLite made a running change in its wiring loom connection systems to enhance connection security and water protection; this change improved system longevity significantly.

If you have an older (60 series) style loom and need a new lamp, select a this accessory and a 30 series to 60 series adapter.
