Refund policy
Buyers have a 30 days from the delivery of their items to initiate a return / refund request. and 14 days from their purchase date to initiate an adjustment under the price adjustment policy.
To be eligible for a return / refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. So that we can coordinate with our suppliers, the returned item also has to have been the exact item purchased from us - matching serial numbers if appropriate. To be eligible for a return / refund, the product in question must have no evidence of installation or use.
Closeout items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Steps you need to take to initiate a return and refund:
1) To start a return, contact us at jefe@jefe.bike. If your return is within the 30 day period and meets the return criteria and is not subject to the exceptions, we will send you a return material authorization (RMA) number within 1 day of receipt of your email.
2) Package up your item securely and ship it to the return address noting the RMA number on the address label. It's always useful to ship using package tracking so that you know the package reached its destination.
3) Upon arrival, we will process your return, assess the situation, and upon approval, issue a refund within 1 day of receipt of your package. Refunds are issued using your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Shipping charges and insurance fees, if applied to your original order, are not refundable. If you are outside the United States, and your return is assessed with tariffs or duties that are charged to us as the recipient on the way back into the United States, these charges will be deducted from your refund amount.
Please note that any returned purchases made on a gift card / gift certificate will be refunded to a gift card / gift certificate and are not redeemable in another form. Gift cards / gift certificates themselves are not returnable.

Damages and shipping issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or doesn’t meet your quality expectations. The same goes for warrantable items within the manufacturer's warranty period. Please initiate these inquiries via email to jefe@jefe.bike.
If your package does not arrive on time, please check the tracking number. If the tracking number says the package has been delivered, but it's not there, please reach out to the shipper and file a claim.
Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), personal care goods (such as beauty products), water bottles / water tubes / bite valves, and products that have evidence of mounting. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. There are no returns on sale items, close out items, or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Price Adjustment Policy
If you find a lower jefe.bike price on a product you purchased from jefe.bike or a higher price, you may ask for an adjustment to the lower price if the request is made within 14 days of your original purchase. Email jefe@jefe.bike with your order details and the adjustment request. Adjustment decisions are communicated within 5 days of the initial request; it may take a few more days for an adjustment to appear on your payment method.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
