How tough is the Jefe Dual Connection Aero Bar bridge? Several amateur competitors successfully completed the 2025 Unbound with these onboard - the pro peloton doesn't allow aero bars in this competition. A number of these are also prominently featured on 2025 tour divide / GDMBR rigs, and we have counted several finishers with this setup. Plus, in over two years of use, no one in our shop has broken one in casual riding, touring, or racing That's "tough enough" in our book!
We recommend the use of blue Loctite 242 / 243 on the retention bolts of all bikepacking and gravel accessories. As a medium-strength thread locker, this product reduces vibration-related loosening.
