kLite Micro-D Dynamo Lighting Charging Kit - Pro Tools for Bikepackers - New! Just add a dynamo wheel and you have everything you need for an off-the-grid adventure. This kit includes the following:
kLite Micro-D unit: This self-enclosed waterproof unit acts as a combined external wire loom, USB charger (USB-C output), light switch, and connection point for the kLite A/C Qube and kLite ULTRA dynamo lamp. The connection to the A/C Qube allows for an always-on operation of the Qube. Available for SON or Shimano / Shutter Precision (SP) / DT Swiss dynamo hubs. This unit is designed to be mounted to the handlebar or frameset using zip ties (included). 64g. Unit measures 8cm x 2cm x2cm. Dynamo connection: 32 inches. Qube connection: 12 inches. Switch connection: 12 inches. Zip tie the switch connection to your stem, aero bars, or another convenient spot.
Soft Switch Logic: PRESS: 100% power to lights, PRESS: 100% power to USB output , HOLD: Hybrid front flash / charge mode (3/4 USB recharge). This pulses the ULTRA lamp as if it were a front Qube—an added function with no weight penalty.
kLite A/C Qube and Qube Mounting Kit: The Qube is the world’s best dynamo-powered rear blinking lamp. This unit is more efficient than all previous Qube models in that it operates on alternating current from the dynamo, rather than requiring inverted 5V direct current. The unit has a hidden option button on the back that allows the user to select fast blink, slow blink, or solid mode. This is a big upgrade from the DC Qube which uses an inline dongle to switch from blink to solid modes. Connects to the Micro-D using a waterproof mini-connector. 36 inches in length (Normal Length - 36g) or 62 inches in length (XL version - 50g) Ships with a zip tie seatpost / rear stay mounting kit with three diameter sizes. Brighter than the DC Qube, will work with the front light on, off, or even not present, and because it's alternating current, can be configured to connect directly to the dynamo circuit. 28g.

One thing we love about the Micro-D is that it comes with front and rear blinking--the rear with the included A/C Qube (which has two different blink modes plus a solid mode) and the front with the pulsed mode on the kLite ULTRA lamp. The front lamp mode is unique to the Micro-D kit, and offers a feature that in the past required a whole extra piece of kit--the now retired kLite Front Qube. This is a great example of evolutionary design from kLite! Simply hold down the light switch to get the front light pulse mode.
