kLite Qube - Dynamo Powered Front and Rear Safety Blinker Kit
The one, the only . . . Dynamo powered front and rear safety blinker combo.
Get rid of your annoying battery powered safety blinkers and switch to kLite Qube! Draws a minimum of current and includes capacitive storage so it continues to flash for a few without charge input. Draws so little current, in fact, that if you plan to use it with a charge battery, it has to be one that allows a trickle of current. Includes three sizes of mounting hardware for different frame placements.
Perhaps most interestingly, the device draws its inspiration from space docking trials, which have reportedly observed that it’s easier to judge distance with a light that blinks at a random periodicity rather than a uniform one.
The Qube flashes a set of short flashes followed by a longer one, and there is randomness in the blinkage. That makes it uniquely different from virtually every blinker in the market. Safety with a touch of space age tech—pretty much a perfect reason to justify this purchase to your SO. Wait, did you just say that out loud?
Even more details:
—lenses are clear but the rear flashes red and the front flashes white
—Optimized for use with kLite USB chargers; will not auto start from some USB dynamo chargers

Two Models - normal length and XL length
—Normal Length Front / Rear Qube: From USB to the end of the rear blinker, approximately 36 inches. From the USB to the end of the front blinker, it's about 22 inches. This is the model I use when I'm riding without a rack (works great with a seat bag) and without a big handlebar bag. You can extend the portion from the USB port to the Dual USB charger with a short male to female USB extender.
--XL Length Front / Rear Qube: From USB to the end of the rear blinker, approximately 48 inches. From the USB to the end of the front blinker, 36 inches. This model is great if you use a rear rack and have your front Qube out on your aero bars--it's what I use on my Tour Divide bike. You can extend the portion from the USB port to the Dual USB charger with a short male to female USB extender.
